IGCSE: First attempt, 100% success !!!

August 2010: ISN’s first IGCSE awards - International General Certificate of Secondary Education (the University of Cambridge International Examinations, UK).

In May 2010,  all of our 12 ‘learning partners’ (Grades 9-10) sat the prestigious and challenging IGCSE examinations in English, German, French, Combined Science, Mathematics, Computer studies, Geography, History and Business studies and ISN’s pass rate is 100% ! A rare achievement that puts our small ‘house of learning’ amongst the top schools worldwide.

Three (3) of our LPs (Stefan.M, Philipp.O and Sophie.M) achieved A* (the highest IGCSE grade). Another rare achievement came from Nora.G, Laetitia.G, Sophie.M and Philipp.O who passed their IGCSE’s with 3 languages (English, French and German).

Our learning partners scored 5 A*’s, 12 A’s, 17 B’s, 23 C’s, 9 D’s and 3 E’s.  IGCSE grades range from E (the minimum pass mark) to A* (the highest grade). Grades C and above are accepted by colleges and universities worldwide for access to university foundation courses or pre-university courses.

  •  Congratulations to all parents for their trust in ISN!
